Ilhem Issaoui

Section 6
Ilhem issaoui

Mine amaranth

meadows
dewdrops on leaves
fluttering fledglings

art all an echo of my
adamantine longing

the shadowy deciduous trees
the fallen leaves

during the indian summer
such is mine melancholy
and my mundane amarulent life

mine amaranth ,albeit the despair
I am clad in
that renders me hapless
like a moribund

I still believe I shall ,
among dispersed nenuphars ,
catch a glimpse of you
catch a glimpse of you
