Katie Hughbanks is a writer, photographer, and teacher whose photography has been recognized internationally, including two honors from the London Photo Festival. Her photos appear in various publications, including in Peatsmoke Journal, In Parentheses, L’Esprit Literary Review, New Feathers Anthology, Glassworks Magazine, Azahares, MAYDAY, Moonday Mag, and Black Fork Review. Her poetry chapbook, Blackbird Songs, was published by Prolific Press in 2019 and her short story collection, It’s Time, was published by Finishing Line Press in July 2024. She teaches English and Creative Writing in Louisville, Kentucky, US.
