About Place Journal, Volume II Issue I
Trees

Tree Sense

See how it makes
itself
a huge and glorious
thing,
light and rain
earth and animal;
that tree,
made from what is
around it,
beautiful
not because
it stands alone
but as a forest
of things that belong
to each other.
