Carolyn Guinzio’s most recent book is Spine (Parlor, 2016). Her third book, Spoke & Dark, (Red Hen, 2012) won the To The Lighthouse/A Room Of Her Own Prize. Her two earlier collections are West Pullman (winner of the Bordighera Poetry Prize) and Quarry (Parlor, 2008). A poet and photographer, her writing and visual work has appeared recently or is forthcoming in Agni, Beloit Poetry Journal, Bomb, Boston Review, Conjunctions, Harvard Review, New American Writing, The New Yorker, and many other journals. A Chicago native, she lives in Fayetteville, AR with her husband, the poet Davis McCombs, and their two children.
