a literary journal published by the Black Earth Institute dedicated to re-forging the links between art and spirit, earth and society
This piece was among those I created while sheltering in place during the pandemic in 2020. Several nights a week I watched/listened to DJ Questlove’s live sets on YouTube. The music, Questlove’s music history lessons and personal anecdotes, and collage-making kept me sane during these strange and scary times. To see more of the art I created in 2020, visit Instagram or my blog: https://christopherluna-poetry.blogspot.com
