Andrea A. Gluckman

Andrea is a photographer, educator, exhibit designer, and civic artist with a background in policy, culture, and religious studies. She uses photography, videography, drone work, and site-specific installations in service of narrative work in live performance and digital spaces. Her work invites collaboration from multi-modal artists to uplift invisible histories, reimagine collective memory, and engage in placemaking for healthier communities through the arts. She is from the Arkansas Delta but is currently based out of Rochester, New York, where she teaches and works with artistic communities on issues of social justice, indigenous truth-telling, anti-racism work, and climate action. Current creative interests: freehand Arabic calligraffiti, waterkeeper narratives, and how curiosity and disturbance-based ecologies might just save us all.
