Leigh Herrick (she/her/hers) is a poet and writer who began taking photos 15 years ago out of love of, and deep concern for, Nature. Her black and whites most often have to do with a certain quality of light that caught her eye. Some photos are happy accidents. Others, Herrick abstracts to produce a certain effect that enhances or highlights what it was that got her attention. All of Herrick’s photos have been taken over the years from the same park near her home. Previous photo publication credits include Otoliths, Mad Hatter’s Review, and The William and Mary Review.
