The XXVIII Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America
 
Clean air and water being necessary to promote the general welfare of its citizens and to the ultimate security of a free State, the right of the people to be secure in their persons from the ill effects of industrial pollution of the common atmosphere and water courses, whether emanating from corporate entities, other states of the Union or foreign sovereign powers, shall not be violated.
 
 
 
Tim McGillicuddy is a poet and playwright. His four books of poetry- Tomorrow Never Comes, In the Soil’s Reach, A Music Box, and Saratoga Here I Come- are published with Northshire Books in Manchester, Vermont. The Irish Play was produced at the Irish Arts Center in New York City in 2007 by Theodore Mann of Circle in the Square Theatre, and later in Burlington, Vermont as part of the Irish Arts Festival. His play for children, The Sparrow with a Clipped Wing, was first produced in Burlington and later in New York at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine. He is the author of six other plays- White Christmas, The Problem with English, Loving Julius, Tired of Waiting, Sons of Zeus, and The Trials of Nobody- and numerous essays. He currently resides in New York City.
